Amber Peitzmeier, EA

Secratary

My name is Amber Peitzmeier and I am the owner of ALW Tax and Business Services in Tarpon Springs, where I serve individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations with a focus on tax compliance, strategy, and representation. I bring over 15 years of experience in the accounting industry, including 13 years specializing in taxation and 10 years as a business owner. I became an Enrolled Agent in 2022, fulfilling a long-time goal to deepen my expertise and better serve taxpayers at the highest level.

My journey in this field began in 2009 when I worked as a purchasing manager—and later as general manager—for a nonprofit organization. In that role, I implemented a full accounting system and introduced budgeting practices that increased the facility’s retained income by 21% in the first month alone. It was there that I discovered my passion for tax research, organization, and helping others navigate financial challenges, which led me to pursue taxation as my full-time career. In 2014, I opened my own firm, where I continue to serve nonprofits, construction firms, legal professionals, and small businesses with the same dedication to service and relationship-building that has always guided my work.

My core values—service, relationship, and advocacy—are at the heart of everything I do, both professionally and personally. I believe in strengthening the tax community through leadership, collaboration, and continuous education, and I am passionate about supporting my fellow Enrolled Agents across Florida. As FSEA Secretary, I am committed to bringing my organizational skills, attention to detail, and heart for service to help foster connection among members, uphold the integrity of our profession, and contribute to the growth and success of our Society.

In addition to my professional work, I am active in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. I serve on the rescue team for Owl’s Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife and have volunteered with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in their Sea Turtle and Aquatic Biology Department, where I was honored with the Shining Star Award in 2021.

I am excited about the opportunity to give back to the profession that has given so much to me and to serve the members of FSEA with dedication and care.
